Symptom: User can't obtain RTK signal close to base, even with correct frequency and mode selected.
Cause: This is caused when the Microhard 400 MHz radio's are receiving or transmitting reduced performance levels or introducing noise into the RF signal.
Resolution: Go to the RTK details page and look at the RSSI measurement it should be -55 to -65. If it shows -120 it is not receiving signal at all. If the transmitter on the Base Station is flashing green with the two LED's lit above, replace the Max rover or A320.
On the MAX Rover there is two lights one indicating power the other acceptable signal this is solid green when tuned to the right frequency and mode. The A320 has three LED's the top two which are lit and the bottom LED pulses when it is tuned to the correct mode and frequency.
If you cannot access the "Radio" tab at all in the GPS setup screen - the radio itself is defective and needs replaced or exchanged.
The further away from the Base Station you get the lower the RSSI gets until it will lose RTK around -90.
If the RSSI is correct on the rover and you are unable to get RTK receive acceptable RTK, it's possible that the transmitter is sending corrupt data.
