How to Configure Overlap Settings
Go into the Overlap Settings menu
Implement Profiles > Current Implement > Implement Settings > Overlap Settings
% Coverage
- How far the boom section has to be into a previously applied area before it shuts the boom section off
- At 0% coverage there is no overlap and the boom section shuts off before it gets into a previously applied area
- At 50% coverage half of the boom section has to be in the previously applied area before it shuts off.
- At 100% coverage all of the boom section has to be in the previously applied area before it shuts off.
% Coverage at Boundaries
- Same working concept to % Coverage but it only pertains to the boundary instead of the previously applied area
Overlap Tolerance
- The Overlap Tolerance only affects the outside boom section on either end of the boom.
- This width describes how much the outside boom section can go into the previously worked (applied area) before it shuts off.
- Allows the user to be able to run a very low % coverage at the headlands but prevents the outside section from turning on and off randomly when working next to a previously worked (applied area).
- Can be entered in feet, inches, or both.
On Time
- Allows the user to enter the number of seconds needed to open the boom valves and build pressure ahead of an unapplied area.
- Increase the number to turn on sooner
Off Time
- Allows the user to enter the number of seconds needed to close the boom valves ahead of a previously applied area.
- Increase the number to turn off sooner.
