If your steering wheel is rotating while under guidance and you have an Outback Guidance hydraulic valve kit that has a counter balance valve installed with it, you can adjust the counter balance valve and the steering wheel will stop rotating while under guidance.
1. Remove the end caps from the Counter Balance Valve
2. This will expose the adjustment ports.
3. Using a 1 1/16" wrench and a 3/4" wrench, loosen the top nut (3/4" nut) on both ports
4. Once the 3/4" nut is loosened, use a 5/16" Allen wrench to adjust the port clockwise. Do one full turn at a time and BOTH ports must be equally adjusted. Adjust until the steering wheel does not turn under guidance.
5. Once the adjustments are complete, tighten the 3/4" nut and replace the caps.
