Please read all instructions BEFORE attempting to change the BAUD Rate and NMEA messages
1. Connect A320 to a computer via USB to Serial converter cable and start the “Remote Control” program
2. Make sure which Port you are using (A or B)
3. Click on “Connect” in upper left-hand corner of “Remote Control”
4. A drop down appears. Click on “Com 6”
5. Using the scroll arrows, scroll* to “System Setup” and hit “Enter”
6. Scroll to BAUD Rates and hit “Enter”
7. Scroll to “Port A” or “Port B” (depending on which port you are using) and hit “Enter”
8. Scroll until the BAUD Rate you are needing appears and hit “Enter”
9. A message will show up saying “Baud rate will change to _____ on disconnect”
10. Click “OK”
11. Scroll to “Top Menu” and hit “Enter”
12. The “GPS” or “GNSS” should already be highlighted. Hit “Enter”
13. Scroll to “Configure” and hit “Enter”
14. Scroll to “Port A” or “Port B” (depending on which port you are using) and hit “Enter”
15. Scroll to the first setting you wish to change. Hit “Enter”
16. Use the arrow scroll keys slowly to reach the value you need.**
17. Once you find the value you need, hit “Enter”
18. It will show the current value you have set.
19. Scroll to the next setting and repeat the process until all the needed NMEA values are changed.
20. Disconnect from the A320 by clicking on the “Disconnect” button in the upper left-hand corner of the “Remote Control”
21. DO NOT reconnect to check your settings as this will reset everything you have changed
22. You can check whatever device you are hooking up to the A320 for verification of settings
*Note: If you scroll too fast, the Remote Control will freeze until it has had time to catch up. (Use the scroll arrows at all times.)
**Note: Change the value of the settings labeled with “GP” (i.e. GPGGA, GPGSA, etc.)
