1) Open the phone's Settings 
2) Open Connections 
3) Select Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
4) Turn Mobile Hotspot On
5) Touch Mobile Hotspot again to display connection information. Note the phone's name and connection password
6) Touch the WiFi icon located in the lower right of the Rebel screen
Note: If no WiFi icon is displayed on the main screen, turn on WiFi by going to Menu > Settings > Networking and changing WiFi Enabled to On
7) Identify your phone in the Rebel Networking panel and touch Connect
8) Enter the connection password provided by your phone and touch Done
9) The Rebel will connect and show a green check next to the phone name
The WiFi indicator will now appear in blue on the Rebel main screen with a green check next to it
You can now register the Rebel by going to Menu > Settings > Subscriptions > Registration
Note: The procedure detailed above was done on an Android phone running version 10 and may differ when using a phone with an older operating system
